Last month we experienced the hottest day ever to be recorded in July, and whilst the temps may have dropped slightly we are hopeful that the summer may finally be here!

But what should you do if the sun’s putting the spotlight on the grime rather than gracing your garden with beautiful sunshine?

Well, we could be just what you need to prepare for fun in the sun, after all we’re known for astonishing results inside and outside the home, especially when it comes to sprucing up your patio furniture or blitzing your BBQ.

Garden Furniture

Now after a hard day’s work or a good clean, we Brits like nothing more than putting our feet up, so we’d always recommend starting with the patio set. But, if it’s spent more time sitting in the garage than taking pride of place in the garden, then we expect that you’ll be dusting off more than just a few cobwebs.

Amazingly you can brighten it up for the summer by using our Oven and Cookware Cleaner.

Specially formulated for use around your home, our cleaner, which has been astonishing households for over 40 years, is perfect for a multitude of cleaning tasks! We’re also pleased to say it’s Good housekeeping Institute Approved 2016.

Containing a vegetable soap and a natural mineral abrasive, it is great for use on chrome, metal, uPVC windows and doors, and most importantly patio furniture. In fact, it even removes built up rust! Simply apply the cleaner with a damp cloth to any grubby parts (just make sure you avoid any gold or silver plated fittings), rub gently and wipe clean.

Ultimately you can use this fantastic product to get your little sunshine spot looking spick and span before you head out to catch some rays.

Summer is all about alfresco dining and firing up the barbecue whilst entertaining family and friends. Now we know that after wining and dining your guests, the last thing you want to do is to spend time cleaning your BBQ, but if you do have one very dirty grill to tackle then it is a job best done straight away. If you do, you’ll find that dirt is much easier to remove, and best of all, your BBQ will be ready and waiting to use next time!

Cleaning your BBQ grill does not need to be a difficult or time-consuming task, with these handy tips cleaning your grill will be a breeze!

Start with the grills…

  1. Leave your BBQ to cool down for around 30 minutes after you’ve finished using it. Once cool, begin by removing the cooking grills.
  2. Fill a sink or large bucket with boiling water, pop in one of our Pro Grease Lifter Tablets and add the grills. These tablets will help to remove tough grease and grime quickly. Any remaining stubborn deposits should be rubbed gently with a nylon brush or pad to remove.
  3. Leave these to soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. On your return drain off the residue water and be astonished at the results – gleaming grills that are as good as new!

So, with your garden furniture and BBQ looking spotlessly clean and ready to use, all we need is for the sun to put its hat back on!
